With a sound as tasty as it is original, Family Dinner serves up hearty portions of creative music to audiences starving for originality in an Island saturated with cover bands. While the band has a Ukulele player, and the subject matter of songs such as No Ack reflect their Hawaiian surroundings, the music of Family Dinner is a virtual world tour. It is not uncommon for listeners at live shows to be transported from New Orleans to Israel to Cuba to Outer Space in a matter of minutes. Like a master chef, the band blends a unique mixture of Hip Hop, Funk, latin, ska and Dixieland with a touch of Country and a dash of Heavy Metal to create a delicious musical gumbo.
